This one will shine brighter than others in my '100 things to-do in year 2019' list

Definitely!

We didn't become the champion that weekend. We might disappointing lots of people. If we do become the champion, we might feel different today. We might write a different 'thank you' note right now. We might. Maybe.

But honestly, becoming the team that finished second place at K Car Global 2019 Sepang 24Hours Endurance; an Asia Level race which joined by giant teams from Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and of course from Malaysia as well; wasn't bad at all. At least not for me. In fact it was a blessing that our car managed to finish the race in the first place!

Imaging running the car with two-bar-left fuel while the clock shows we still got more than 55 minutes to go before the race ended. We were leading our competition class and were only 1 minute in front of our competitor whom had been chasing us from the start of the race. Imagine how much pressure hold by the team especially our team manager and team principle. And imagine how much pressure being put on our last jockey at that time. It feels like every breath were slowly taken away from each one of us.

All drivers and crews nailed in the pit and had a major brainstorm. We argued, we discussed intensively, we came out with the best plan at that time and prayed for miracles...to pit and letting off few laps so that our car can last till the checkered flag waved.

Alhamdulillah, our prayers were answered. God knows how happy we were when our car crossed the finishing line. We were so happy as if we were the champion of the event. To us, it was the best finishing ever in our lives~

Thank you Allah for letting us secure the P2. We accept with redha for we know if You won't give us what we want the most, You are actually giving us what suits us better. Alhamdulillah...

Thank you so much to family and friends for the tremendous non-stop support given. It really boost our fighting spirit.

Thank you to all sponsors: EXN Lube, K1 Exhaust Specialist, Din JJ Autoparts and my personal sponsor. Without the support given, we might not even join the race in the first place. So big thank you to all of our beloved sponsors~

Thanks to JR-Speed Sucimuci Racing Team for choosing me to drive their precious #37 Kancil Belalang. Thank you to the team crew; from Mr Team Manager to the Refueling Crew. I really mean it.

Not forgetting to all the media: Pitstop Tv, Galeri Kereta, Tune Photography, Camera Head Photography, Adrenaline Impact, Careta Tv and many more. Mentioned or not, sincerely thank you for your support.

And to those whom had spent your time visiting me at Pit 13 personally; and also to those whom constantly WhatsApp me for updates; I humbly thank you from the bottom of my heart. You know who you are.

Thank you so much to Abg Rashid Ramlan and SSAD family for tunjuk ajar, for allowing me to do last minute simulator practice and for the doa & support given.

Last but not least, thank you and massive respect to the race director Mr Ravin Race Direction & organizing committee and all competitors as well. It was more like a meet-and-greet party rather than a race. We all had a very good time together; meeting old, new friends and learning Japanese motorsport cultural together. Let's make this friendship last forever.

Till we meet again in K Car Global 2020
